Thought I'd try something different. Snow can fog out detail, contrast and color. Red does best, red lights and cardinals. White-outs are real, as anyone who's been in one can testify. I got caught in one in New Hampshire once. This was far less dangerous, just some adirondack chairs in the back yard still enjoying the view.
