Inspired by the sparse but defined works of Will Barnett, Sabra Field, Eyvind Earle and others, photography also lends itself to graphic interpretation. In this image I'm trying to convey the early morning light in the mountains, before the sun breaks, before the fog lifts and flat colors come into sharp relief.
