Sometimes a scene develops by luck. In this case a cruise ship was passing on the horizon about five miles out to sea. Then a boat came from the right about a thousand yards off shore fishing for smelt.

The winds were brisk and it became evident the two would cross my field of view. Using a 2000mm lens I was able to frame both. With the fishermen rolling on the waves, I waited for their boat to list to port. You can see from the distortions in the cruise ship's details how far out to sea it was, AND the fishermen bracing with sea legs while working their catch.
